In Loving Memory

   Mischelle L. Johnson

"Life is much more than what it seems, and much more than what we know... for each day is a new discovery, and we cannot say what tomorrow's winds may bring. Yet of this I am certain; knowing you has made me a better person, and I will forever hold a part of you within me."

This is a tribute to my best friend. Mischelle was only 25 when she left us on August 20, 1998. She left behind a loving husband and soul mate, Jeffrey J. Johnson; her parents; two half-brothers and a half-sister; her grandparents; and many other family and friends who loved her very much.

My husband and I have created these pages together. If you knew her, we hope it helps you remember the good times. If you didn't, then we hope that by the time you look around, you'll know at least a little bit of who she was.

Mischelle and Me

Mischelle and I met in the Fall of 1988, during our Sophomore year in High School. We were like two peas in a pod from the moment we met. She was the outgoing, assertive one, and I was shy and very quiet. She took me under her wing, and together we made the greatest team ever!

In 1992, during our sophomore year of college, she married her Junior High sweetheart, Jeffrey, whom I had known since second grade and had grown up with. Together, they were the most fun-loving, energetic, happy couple you would ever meet! They learned to scuba-dive together, and Mischelle volunteered at the Zoo, sharing her love for animals any way she could. They always brought great joy to each other and to everyone they met along the way.
